Configure your Email Account to Use the Relay Server

The screen captures below show how to configure your email program to use the relay server, if you are authorised to use the relay server. The following two pieces of information are key to configuring your email program correctly: If you leave the default SMTP port (25) in place when you configure your email program, you will not be able to send email. Your email program might tell you that it cannot find the SMTP server. Please ensure that you configure your email program with the correct port (587) for your outgoing (SMTP) server, which should be relay.niner.net.

Other account information for your email address should be configured according to the instructions from the company hosting your email accounts. (The default information shown in these screen captures may or may not be correct. These screen captures are designed only to point out the information required to use the relay server.) If that company is NinerNet Communications, please see the instructions for your email program at Configuring your Email Program.
